Hey everyone! My name is Jessie, and I am a sophomore at Anderson University. I am a social work major, mainly because I have a passion for loving people and want to have the skills to help them succeed in life. I have been involved in short term mission trips through my church and school since age 13. While most of these trips only lasted about 7 to 10 days, each one somehow changed my life in a big way. I am hoping the Peru trip does the same thing, but in an even bigger way. I really feel as though God wants me on this trip for many reasons, one of which is personal growth. I am so excited to learn and grow and connect with everyone on the team. God has big things planned, and we are definitely going to reach people in a powerful way.
