What's up team Peru? So I can Imagine that all of you have some questions that your dying to get answered! Some of you probably more than others. We (your leaders) want to make sure that each of you are prepared and that this whole process of getting ready for the trip is as smooth as possible. Also, we want to encourage you to stay aware and not let the busyness and distractions of life keep you from what God has for you right now. It's so important that we all stay on guard against satan's schemes! We've been doing this for a while now and know how much he wants to distract and discourage you before this trip begins. You might notice that some crazy things might begin to happen or that you begin to feel particularly attacked. Please know that this is not a coincidence! There is nothing to freak out or worry about though (Greater is He that is in you then he that is in the world)! If stuff starts to go down, run to Jesus. It's intimacy with our Father that brings healing to our hearts and gives us the ability to overcome the world and all that it has to throw at us! This is also a great time to start being open with your teammates about your challenges as well as your victories. Allow them to process through this with you, as many of you will be facing the same challenges. OK, now back to the whole question thing. If you leave a comment on this post and include your questions, we will do our best to answer them. We can't promise that we will be able to answer all of them and we're not going to pretend to know something that we don't. When there are enough questions posted, I will write another blog to address them. This way you all have the same info and there might be a question posed that you didn't think to ask, but needed to know. We are praying for each of you, that the fullness of God's grace and love would be upon you by the power of His magnificent Spirit!
